Before choosing a direction, it helps to name what you are actually holding. Not job titles — capabilities.

Write down the last five problems you solved that nobody trained you for. That list is closer to your real skill set than any résumé bullet.

Then ask a harder question: which of those do you want to keep doing? Reinvention gives you permission to leave competence behind when it no longer fits.
